Regina Holtz is the office manager at First Friends of NJ & NY, an NGO that provides non-legal support services to immigrants in detention. Her social work background includes ministry as manager of a day care for homeless and HIV+ children in Newark, NJ. She served for 16 years on the Leadership Team of her congregation, the Franciscan Sisters of Peace, during which she was active with the Coalition of Religious Congregations to Stop Trafficking (CRC-STOP). Regina sees LifeWay Network as a positive force in the struggle to combat human trafficking. She believes the two-fold emphasis of LifeWay on education and safe housing is the key to success in abolishing modern slavery.
