March 2015 marks the third anniversary of the opening of LifeWay House, our long-term transitional safe house for women survivors of human trafficking.
In the three years since opening its doors to women survivors in March 2012, LifeWay House has been home to seventeen women. Thirteen have moved on to independent living.
Whether they stayed with us for a month or a year, LifeWay House provided the safety and support necessary for each of them to start to heal from the trauma of trafficking.
The voice of one survivor says it best, “LifeWay was a home to me when I had nowhere to call home.”
It is a privilege for all of us at LifeWay Network to support these strong and courageous women as they move towards reclaiming their independence and a future full of new potential.
