Conference on Human Trafficking: Whose Business Is It?

In a May 2013 article, The Tablet reported on a day-long conference on “Human Trafficking: Whose Business Is It?” that was held at St. John’s University on April 6.

LifeWay Network Executive Director Joan Dawber, SC, and Education Coordinator Kati Hamm, SC, spoke about human trafficking, and what’s being done locally, particularly about LifeWay Network’s safe housing program, and its education program to raise awareness and work towards change.
