Trafficking In Persons (TIP) Report

The U.S. Government’s Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report is the world’s most comprehensive resource of governmental anti-human trafficking efforts, and it reflects the U.S. Government’s commitment to global leadership on this key human rights issue.

Releasing the 2018 TIP report, Secretary of State Michael Pompeo said:

“Modern slavery has no place in the world, and I intend to ensure, through diplomatic engagement and increased action, that the United States government’s leadership in combating this global threat is sustained in the years to come.”

But worst of all, the crime robs human beings of their freedom and their dignity. That’s why we must pursue an end to the scourge of human trafficking.”
